Pita suggestions- The pita can be warmed or toasted to make them pliable for filling the pocket. Choose any veggies, meat, or greens that fancy you!
- Use as a small pizza crust. If you like thin crusts, open up all around and you have 2 crusts.
- Make you own pizza pops by cutting the pita in half. Open the pocket and spread with tomato sauce. Add any meat you like and shredded cheese. Or, you can mix all of the ingredients and stuff into the pocket. Bake in the oven at 350 till the cheese melts.
- Have a full closed pizza pop by slitting open the top only – in half. Stuff with desired goods and bake till the cheese melts. Kids love it!
- Make pita chips – cut the pita in half and split the 2 pieces. Brush with oil and season as you wish. Break or cut in small pieces and toast in oven to desired crispness at 250.
Pizza Crusts- Do you like thin or thick crust for your pizza? You can split a crust in half and you have 2 thin crusts. Top with your favorite toppings and bake till the cheese melts.
Bread - Make delicious French toast for your breakfast. Prepare an egg/milk mixture. Add some salt and cinnamon if you like. Pour the mixture into a class cake pan. Slice bread and soak in the egg mix till fully saturated. Heat skillet and grease with a little butter. Fry the bread slices till nicely browned. Top with maple syrup or your choice. Enjoy!!
