The favorite meeting place for many.  It is planted with happy walks in mind.  Enjoy and munch as you go! Dora can discuss food preserving with you – fermentation (the traditional method of preserving nutrient / enzyme rich food), root cellaring,  freezing, and canning. This is normal living for us. Cornelius loves to discuss soil management, pest and weed control.  The garden patio is a popular spot for a pizza picnic or summer meals with friends and staff.

The garden is rather late this spring with all the rain and cool weather we have had.  Most of it is planted. The peas, salad greens, onions, and garlic are growing nicely.  Jason, our son who just moved back from Alberta, will build a permanent garden gazebo.  His cousin Luke will work with him.  Luke and his family have come from Tunisia to spend the summer visiting in Manitoba.
